New Jersey Casinos: How Good Are They?

Unlike Nevada, New Jersey did not have anything that was as glamorous and historical the former had.

In addition, the state has proclaimed its enthusiastic motives to restrict organized crime off casinos in Atlantic City. Although if it cannot succeed altogether, this effort will definitely control any opportunists maintain a very low profile.

Since Howard Hughes is no longer around and we won't see his kind in New Jersey casinos - now, will Atlantic City present itself as a model in Europe's casino gaming scene?

The entire atmosphere in most French casinos has always been a planned effort to make any individual feel safe, like he or she is in a church or museum.

The mahogany, the crystal, the gold - these combine for the gambler to give a feeling of security.

Being treated first-class, moneys raked in by a polite croupier, clad in formal evening clothes - superbly groomed matched with a calm but respectable expression on his or her face --- casinos yet are the best places to throw one's money in.

In Las Vegas, it's the exact opposite. Most of these croupiers are dressed in shirt sleeves - sometimes dressed formally at the baccarat tables - where $20 is the minimum bet and they'll accompany you to the cleaners in a flash and so often they know they are able to transform the dealer, in a coat and tie.

One can always point out the dealer from the gamblers is that the former is sober, and always watching the game, standing up.

Dress code in Vegas casinos don't really matter, as long as one has enough money in his or her pockets; and these casinos, more often than not, are loud.

The United States started the fad of using big-name entertainment as to hook gamblers back when the best casinos were hidden between Ohio and Pennsylvania's boondocks - a fortress in the hills filled with secrets.

But it surely took Las Vegas to flaunt the convergence of gambling and show business. With its close location to Hollywood - not to mention this place can afford to pay performers high fees, Vegas can book most act it wanted.

Of course, it didn't affect the entire casino business that some of the well-known celebrities - Dean Martin, Eddie Fisher, and Frank Sinatra - were also some of the high bettors. Not only had they gone to stage and perform, they gambled as well.

This is definitely a tradition Atlantic City must inherit, and play it to the hilt.

If Las Vegas is near to Hollywood's entertainment capital - Atlantic City is just down New York's freeway, where there are more entertainers in every area than California can boast.
